The 2012 Acura TL is abundantly powered
by a 3.5 liter 6-cylinder engine. But, for those who need to feel even
more power, an exciting option is the 3.7 liter V-6 engine. Don't be
fooled by the small increment of increased size from the standard engine
- the .2 liter increase adds a whopping 25 horses (from 280 hp to 305
hp) to the already impressive output. The six-speed
automatic transmission (six-speed manual transmission optional on SH-AWD
only) transforms the driving experience from merely exhilarating to
electrifying, adding another dimension to its road performance. The
Sequential SportShift Automatic allows for switching from fully
automatic to manual control of the transmission when the desire to shift
the car yourself takes hold (and it will). It has been further improved
for 2012 by the addition of paddles on the steering wheel to assist in a
quick gear changes as needed. The improved fuel
